Lorelei, the fashion model
My phone beeped this evening...and there was this pic. Don't you just love it. Do you see all three?
Can you believe how she has grown...of course you are not seeing her standing beside me. But believe me she is turning into a young lady. She is still like a ray of sunshine for us. She is longing to go wading in the creek and they are either way to high to wade, specially the one that we can easily get to. Others are not so high, but either no place to get down to the creek, or if there is, no good sand/gravel bar to be on.
I don't think we have went a whole week without rain this summer. And most of the time it rains more than one day. Maybe just a quick soaking shower, maybe light rain all day...but seems like we get rain of some sort at least two or three times a week.
****************
I have only made 35 of these....I cannot settle down and really work on them. I sew them just to have something to sew. But my heart is not in them.
And I cannot leave these scrappy things alone either. At least when I do sew. Last week I did not touch sewing at all. First one thing and then another kept me from it.
Now for a little funny, here you go....I hope you have a nice rest of the week and hope you get a chuckle from the video:

ReplyDeleteOh my! Lorelie has grown up. That Ken Davies is a funny man.
ReplyDeleteThis was hilarious!!! I myself had a terrifying experience with an elevator that had doors on both sides. Lorelei has grown so much that I would not have recognized her! Her smile lights up everything!
ReplyDeleteLorelei looks so cute with those colourful birds!! You'll have to post a pic of you and her standing side by side so we can see how tall she's getting!
ReplyDeleteAdorable photo of Lorelei; she is always smiling.
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLorelei has grown into a lovely lady and she still has her sweet smile on. The parrots love her.
ReplyDeletei try to never ride an elevator and this is the reason why. terrifyed of being stuck. i did have that happen to me once, the door i was facing did not open and for a split second i froze, but realized the doors were open behind me. it was in a hospital in Savannah GA.. i can't belinve how grown up L is now. and wow on 3 parrots sitting on her. i love that photo... hope your rain stops soon and comes to visit us.
ReplyDeleteYes, Lorelei has grown and so nice to see that wonderful smile.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely picture!!
Just listened to the elevator ride!! FUNNY and something I would do. : )
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool picture. I hope the birds didn't poop!! I finally got a move on with my Endeavourer's project. I had to restart because silly me left it on the dining room table when we went away, for just a minute. I knew something was wrong when he didn't greet me at the door, lol.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th
xx, Carol
Oh my goodness, how much that sweet grand of yours has grown up. Still such a nice girl. I read your previous post about Roger's falling. So scary. do you think the cough could be a side effect of any of his medications? I know Lisinapril has coughing as a side effect----I had that at one time and my med was changed.
ReplyDeleteI post a blog occasionally now but sometimes want to stop and I really don't. What to do what to do
keep remembering me
