Not much...
I have had this basket forever and used it for different things. Well I had a variety of items in it and it was sitting in my closet. I cleared it out, and sat the basket out trying to decide what to do with it. I finally thought I would try putting a towel in it and setting it in here. I had it setting on the floor and Bubbie would get in there. I sat it up on the couch while I vacuumed and they both seem to like it there....so there it has stayed.
***********
I finished 6 more of these this past week...
My stack of them is growing...I have more in there pinned and ready to baste to the background.
Sometimes when I am bored, I fiddle with the little pieces that are left when I ave cut out a leave.
Now some of the one pictured above are big enough that I will use them for some more specific than this:
I did not measure this but I would say it is about 8 x 8 inches...maybe a little wider...I don't know what I am going to do with it, but I will find a use.
************
Roger continues to be okay. Or as okay as he gets. I am thankful for that, and thankful for your thoughts and prayers with that.
I hope you are having a nice weekend...we are supposed to have sun tomorrow! I won't know how to act, but I will be happy!

He is so cute in this basket! And it is just the right size for him. Now you need to fold up a little blanket and put it inside. Comfy!
ReplyDeleteCats just love sleeping inside baskets or boxes don't they? Your sweet kitty looks so cozy and content. I love what you have created with scraps. I used to tell my mom that the things she made with scraps were my favorite things.

I really like what you've created with the small scraps pf lovely fabric. Kitty in the basket is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI just love that picture of Bubbie in the basket! Set out a basket or a box and a cat will claim it for sure! You have made great progress on your squares. You will end up with a bigger quilt than you expected. I love what you are doing with the scraps. You could always make Bubbie a quilt!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, darn! Somewhere in blogland someone made the cutest placemats using crumbs, now I can't find it. LOVE the oranges. Does Bubbie need a girl friend? I think he and Bella would be a cute couple (hehehe).
ReplyDeleteBubbie looks comfortable in the basket and I think he likes it. You are very good with mixing and matching of the little leftover fabric pieces.
ReplyDeleteWe used to keep a basket in the office to hold various bits and pieces, only it always had a cat in it instead! I don't know why, but cats and baskets just seem to go together. Bubbie looks so cute :)

ReplyDelete...cats sleep anywhere, any table any chair... &*>
LOVE your developing patchwork!!! YAM xx
I am surprised to find I LIKE the bits and pieces square, usually I like symmetry, but this is really pretty...I am also a matchy, matchy person with colors and prints, but these are beautiful to me
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteBubbie does look comfy in the basket. Your leaves are beautiful, i like the colors. Enjoy your day, wishing you a great new week!
Yay for Roger. Glad is is doing ok.
ReplyDeleteOur babies sure do love boxes and baskets don't they? So cute.
ReplyDeleteI love the scrappy pieces. So many things you could do with those. Table runner, placemats, napkins, pillow tops, etc. I just love the colors.
Happy you are both doing well!!!!
A perfect spot for Bubbie. He looks content.
ReplyDeleteThe leaves are so pretty and colorful.
In some ways you remind me of my Mom. No scrap, no matter how small, was allowed to go to waste. She pieced them together to make a quilt.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie, and your crazy block is so bright and cheerful! 💖
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about sunshine...it makes me happy! Good to read that Roger is doing okay. Love your work & sweet basket display!
ReplyDeleteSMH because I know my dogs would chew up that basket in a snap of a finger.
ReplyDeleteLove your oranges. I have always loved orange.
xx, Carol
Very pretty Rose, love the colors as always. Glad Roger is doing okay. We are having two or three inches of rain today and more over the next few days. Enjoy that sunshine tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of your kitty in the basket.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing the progress with the quilt. It is something that is accomplished forever and does not have to be done again...like cleaning. Keep posting them.
