See the box above? I did not think to put the flaps down, but you can easily see where they fold. The box was not quite square but almost. And those two items in front of it are all that was in it. They must have been running short of boxes.

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet picture! I have gotten things from Amazon in a box that is much too large. But now their prices are going up? I also hear their delivery time will be longer, and they are hiring 100,000 more workers!
ReplyDeleteYou would think they could have found a smaller box. My cats love those big plastic air bubbles they pack with. I let them play with them until they pop then I throw them away.

our kitties always leave me with a smile on my face. they look so sweet and happy.. pet therapy is a great thing and is a real thing.. that is a big box and scary about Amazon. yesterday I ordered a harness for Big, a no pull one. for the first time, I could pay Amazon 6 dollars more with free delivery or pay 6 less from the seller and pay for delivery. I am seeing changes every day as they absorb all the buyers that can't go to the store. they are hiring 100,000 employees to deal with the expulsion of business. also I have to wait a week, not the 2 day delivery even though it is filled by Amzon

ReplyDeleteThank you for the kitties and they gave me a smile. I have had orders like that with big boxes for something an eighth of its size. Those prices are a real ripoff :( Apparently we should leave packages outside for at least 5 days, at least that is what hubby told me, and he always checks and rechecks his sources. We have a package coming and will put it in our garage. I guess we will have to start wearing our latex gloves more at this rate. What a crazy time it is!
ReplyDeleteHi There, We still love Amazon --because of the convenience these days... They are cutting back on delivery times now --since they are not delivering to the warehouses... SO --if you order something that is NOT in a warehouse, you'll have to wait... Everyone is struggling right now NOT knowing how long all of this will continue.
ReplyDeleteMy son is in the Service Industry --and as or last night, he is not working.... Scary --what we all are going through. I'm trying to stay positive, but none of us know the 'unknown'...

Everything is becoming in short supply as the supply chain breaks down. I fear it will only get worse. Next will come hyperinflation when all the extra money our government is printing begins to circulate...and then our dollars will crash.
