All tuckered out...

We went to Indy this weekend to see the girls and Lorelei and the grand fur babies.  Delta was never still when I was at her house, but Lorelei's little dog was.

The above and below pics were shot by me.  Rosie was asleep in Lorelei's lap.

The following shots of Kitty Soft Paws are by Lorelei...

If you will notice in the shot above, Otto is behind her...and he is snoozing, too.

She is about the most beautiful cat I ave ever seen.  Her tail is long and has a white tip on it.  She is so sweet natured, but will play with Rosie sometimes.  She played more when she was younger I think.

***************

Lorelei continues to be enthusiastic with school.  She still has not met her art teacher.  But likes her music teacher, her home room teacher...not sure what or if she teaches something else.  And likes the other teacher.

************

I have been busy as a bee today...and still did not get weeding done.  I vacuumed our Toyota Rav 4....and while out there I vacuumed the garage floor.  Or did to the best of my ability today.  It looks a whole lot better, but I did not move stuff from around the wall.  I always keep a couple jackets and a flannel shirt or two in the Rav for times when we are out and it gets chilly.  You cannot imagine how many times I have been glad to have them.  They have been in there a bit too long, so I brought them in and washed them.  I have not taken them back out.  I also keep a towel...

I made up Roger's medicine for the next two weeks...it takes a half hour at the least, and sometimes when I finish one bottle and have to open a new one it takes longer.  Usually several of them hit at the same time...

Still have things to do...I hope the week is a good one for all.

  1. Our car is a RAV4 too. We should keep some jackets and a blanket in it. Her pets are gorgeous!

  2. I keep emergency supplies in the car too. It only has to be needed once and the effort is worthwhile.

The fur babies are beautiful and great pets by the sound of it.

Hope your granddaughter continues to feel so positive about school.

I hope Lorelei continues to enjoy school and has good teachers.

  4. What beautiful and sweet furbabies they have! Rosie looks like she sure loves her girl and Kitty Soft Paws is gorgeous! I sort my husband's pills out every week into one of those pill keepers too. If they take very many it makes it much easier.

You have been busy today! This is one of those weeks for me where I have appointments of some type almost every day. And tomorrow we vote too. I'll be glad for the weekend! You and Roger take care!

  5. Kitty soft paws and Rosie, how adorable! Yes, I know all about the tedious job of trying to keep up with the trips to the pharmacy and dispensing of meds since taking care of Mom. I'm glad someone else has that job while I am back home for awhile.💖

  6. These days, I keep spare face masks in the car just in case they are needed. The fur babies all look comfortable and yes, the cat is beautiful. No matter how much or how fast we do the work around our house, we can never finish them.

  7. Hello,

I love all the furbabies. It is great Lorelei likes her teachers and being back at school. It is a good idea, to keep a jacket, blanket or emergency supplies in your vehicle. Have a great day and week ahead!

  9. I like to keep some supplies in my car as well - a jacket and warm hat, gumboots, a bottle of water, something waterproof to lie on (if have to crawl under the car), some packets of dried fruit, and a first aid kit. Oh, I also have a fold-up chair which comes in handy if I stop anywhere on a journey :)

  11. Every Sunday morning you will find me in the kitchen cursing under my breath as I do two boxes for Bob's pills and four boxes for my pills. I really hate it and I have to be very careful because sometimes I mess it up and especially like you said when we run out and have to get one out! I laughed when I got here because you said tuckered out and I just came from photo one of these blog and she said her title was plum tuckered out made me smile. The smile was not near as big as the one of that pup laying in lorelei's lap that is just precious. I hope you got some pictures of Delta! I love seeing Auto and that is the most beautiful cat in cat lion I love the way the Paul's are so white! I also had to smile when you said you vacuumed your car because in my 75 years I have never vacuum the car. All I do is use a whisk broom and that's only about once every three years haha

  16. Awwwwwwww...cute pets. Kitty Soft Paws is such a cute name.

Giroux has a white tip to his tail too, but he's not nearly as fluffy as Kitty.

  17. Love the pup and kitty shots. Animals are the best.

I have never vacuumed out a car either. Or washed one---only because someone washes mine for me.
As for the Hollyhocks: I really don't remember what we do. I think they just go to the ground in the winter---I let them re-seed and then rake them away. They are a fun plant to have and the other flower the gold one is a Calendula and it is true you only need one or two and then watch out next year they will be everywhere. We let them go or pull them out but there is no stopping them.
    Be good
    Take care

  20. Lovely animals. It must be nice to be a cat - sleeping between 15 and 20 hours a day, waking just long enough to grab some food, lie on someone's lap and have a prowl round the neighbourhood.

The only things I keep in the car are water, a torch, de-icer fluid and an ice scraper.

  22. You certainly have been busy.
Pleased to read that Lorelei likes her teachers.

    All the best Jan

  23. You did so many chores! I feel guilty now. Yesterday all I could do was to sit on the couch and look out the window. Felt fine, nothing was wrong just couldn't stop staring. Today I will make myself get up and accomplish something, except that Scooter is snuggled up snoozing beside me with his head on my lap. Gosh. Can't disturb the dog - must sit here longer...
