Sunshine and shadows...

I wish I were able to get down on my knees, but I cannot so I do the best I can.  I was out looking to see if the hibiscus is showing life, which it is, but also snagged a couple photos of these tulips...well this one...the others did not turn out.  I do like this...but wish the center were not quite so dark.

*************
I have not done much this day except go to Mcds for Roger's standard breakfast, fixed my own breakfast when I got home, and I did a few dishes.

Oh, and I made  up meds.  Roger takes so many that I use these little portion cups that have lids and make them up for at least 16 days at a time.  Sometimes 18 days.  The only bad thing doing this, which has not really happened would be if he were to have to discontinue one.  I would have to go and figure out what it looks like before I could take it out.  I would recognize some of them, but not all.

I have not touched sewing...maybe some will happen this weekend...

  1. Hello,
    The hibiscus bloom is lovely.
It will be awhile before we see our blooming.
My hubby has a weekly pill holder. He takes so many different pills.
    Take care, enjoy your day!

  2. I don't know if this helps but sometimes there's little number/codes on the pills and using a phone to take the picture and enlarge said picture. Then googling which med that is. Not sure if that's helpful or not. Oh my gosh, love the flower. That's on of my most fave teas to drink cold, too. Hibiscus. Delightful. Cheers, Ivy.

  4. I have a divided keeper that is 7 rows of 7 tiny compartments. That makes one week of pills. I use 7 dividers for each day. The tulip is gorgeous, especially with the shadowing.

  6. My mom dumps hers into a divided boxed...she seems to know what is what and if and when she has taken them. Amazes me.

  7. Such a pretty flower.
I do what Ginny does. I have a 7 day pill keeper. I fill it once a week. I keep the bottles of everything in a cupboard. Mine are all pretty easy to tell apart.

  8. and the other problem if you had to remove one from all the boxes, is Bob's changes it looks, depending on where Publix gets it from. they sometimes change colors. I had not thought about that but I only do one week at a time. Sunday AM I have 2 containers for bob and three for me, one of my three is over the counter supplements. I have to wait 4 hours after my thyroid pill to take them. that makes me forget the over the counters about half the time
Love the flower pick. if you store your photos in Google photos, you can go there and edit and make the center lighter

  10. I love that flowers have started - so many to look forward to. heck, you do what ever you feel like doing. You don't have to do something all the time! Take care.

  12. Love your flower photo. Lovely.
It seems there is a never ending job of pill taking.
Fortunately we don't have to take too many and so far we are on top of things.
