The is a view at Eagle Creek Nursery...daughter and I picked up Lorelei and we went there and looked at shrubs and trees on Wednesday. It was so hot and muggy it was sort of hard to fully enjoy it. But still, I would go back again in a heartbeat.
Do you have a term or phrase you use a lot when you are tired...I have several. I won't bore you with them but I am tired. I was to be at daughter's house to let in delivery people at 9:30 this morn. That is not early. However, almost any time I have to do something a bit out of my routine, I either wake early--this morning, was right at 4:00 a.m. and did not go back to sleep. Thankfully I had gone to bed at 11:30...
I either do that, or I wake up every hour...I have no idea why I do that. But the delivery guys came shortly after 9:30 so did not have to sit and wait, and I got to run on and do my walmart shopping. Then home...put things away, go get Copper and take him out. Oh, my, you should have seen him...he could not leave me alone because he had to sniff and sniff and sniff because I had held Rosie and played with Gus...I am sure he knew where I had been.
Sometimes I say, I'm tuckered out. :)

ReplyDeleteMittens behaves like Copper when I have been away somewhere. I'm sure she "reads" what I have been doing - she sniffs, then madly starts licking me as if she is trying to erase what she has smelled. Or perhaps she is marking her scent on me!
ReplyDeleteI hope you can catch up on your sleep tonight. I, too, am inclined to wake up early (and get uptight) when I know I have something important I have to do that day.
I am the same way. If I have to do something in the morning like an appointment or a visit, I wake up all thru the night, then early in the morning and can't get back to sleep.

ReplyDeleteBeau does the same thing, when I visit Jackie I come home smelling like Dolly.. that is a beautiful nursery and I would like to go there just to look at all the beauty. I thought it was a park. I always always do what you did. if I have something to do that is NOT in my daily routine I do the every hour wake up and/or the wake up earlier than usual. makes the wait time longer.. . I am exhausted. worn to a frazzle is the I say the most
