From the past

I like this but I do not know why...

*******
I went to Walmart yesterday.  I went to Walmart today...partly because I forgot to write something on my list, but also to return some items.  And also Roger told me he was out of hearing aid batteries.  I tend to stock up on them and just had not realized he was out.  Though if actually needed some, I always carry extra in my purse.

I have not made it upstairs today...not sure that I will.  I have did one or two household chores and that is about it.  Tomorrow I need to do another load of laundry and can probably find more to do.

I noticed a maple that had leaves turning red today...only one.  It makes fall seem close.  As usual I am hoping for a long, slow fall.

  2. I am hoping for a long, slow fall as well! I like your photo! I am unable to do steps, and have not been able to for several years now. If I want to go to the basement, I have to go outside and walk around the house. But at least I can get there!

  3. I've noticed leaves falling but they're mostly brown and dry from the weeks of drought.
I go to Walmart every week it seems and tomorrow's the day. I even have a list this time.

  4. The loaner pair of hearing aids I got before the ones I have now used batteries. I can imagine going through an awful lot of them.
I've noticed subtle hints of fall around here. It makes me sad to know that winter is getting closer all the time.

  5. wow, two trips to Walmart, I count Walmart visits as OUTINGS ha ha
we are starting 2 months of hurricane watching and woke up to 85 degrees, and that will not change until Nov... we have no fall and are now in the danger zone for 2 months.. our nights don't go below 79 and today it was 80 all night. I love the photo, those folded leaves are beautiful to me... macro shots are my favorite of all photography. everything and anything looks beautiful with bokeh views up close.

  7. I really can't wait for some temperature relief. This being above 100F for a full month of July was not fun. Its already 79F at 10AM that means 100F here we come.
We were at Walmart yesterday and at WinCo too. Felt like we walked our legs off, but you gotta do what you gotta do!!
