I just cannot resist posting this plus another over on my other blog if I don't get sidetracked. The hibiscus had 13 blossom day before yesterday I think it was...I thought that was a lot! Today it had 18 blooms! I could hardly believe it. They are just gorgeous in real life.

I have did laundry most of the day. Or felt like it was most of the day. With each load taking an hour and 11 minutes it just drags out. But I don't dare not use the extra rinse with how little water it uses. I get so frustrated any time I wash quilts or sheets. The washer has a glass lid and can stand and watch. There will be part of the quilt that bubbles up out of the water, and it will just stay there till I pause the wash, open the lid and rearrange the quilt. The only good thing about this washer is it really spins the water out.
I need to run to Walmart either tomorrow or Wed...supposed to be raining tomorrow so I may wait. Other than that, I would like to work upstairs in all my sewing stuff and rearrange it. But I have thought that before and have yet to do it. So wish me luck.
18 blooms on your Hibiscus...that is incredible!
ReplyDeleteOur washer also has the habit of not filling with enough water to properly cover what's in it. It judges how much to put in by weight I think so I "fool" it by dumping in a pail of water with the dirty clothes, before I press start. That usually does the trick.
It seems all hibiscus flowers are such a brilliant colour - guaranteed to make a person smile and feel happy! Good luck with your sewing stuff :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous hibiscus.
ReplyDeleteI don't care much for the newer machines. Even though the one I have now works fine, it takes twice as long to wash a load as my old one did.
Good morning, don't forget to SEW... or move stuff around .
ReplyDeleteforgot to say, I count the blooms on both of ours every day... its amazing, one day the orange one had 24 blooms. I know the feeling you are feeling
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI love the hibiscus, beautiful bloom! Take care, enjoy your day!
How beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI hate my ringer less washer as well. Anything bigger just puffs up out of the water.
Love the hibiscus. Such intense colour. A bunch of them must be spectacular.
ReplyDeleteSuch a blast of beauty. Blossoms galore, how wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI hope you can go upstairs and just sew to your hearts content. Perfect therapy.
Sue
I do like the hibiscus.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your sewing stuff.
All the best Jan
Such a pretty color.
ReplyDeleteI still use the clothespins that you told me about. I love them, nothing ever blows off the line.
