Yesterday, I had planned to go for a drive....but after Clover died I debated going. I thought it was supposed to rain today, so I went ahead and left. Only to be back home in an hour or less. I did take pictures of three barns including this one. If you will enlarge it, notice what looks like a 2" x 4" board propping it up at the far end. Coming from the other direction I really noticed the leaning more, but could not get a good shot of it. The roof is in bad shape also...I hope they do something to save it. I just hate to lose the old barns.
That's a great old barn. I imagine it takes more money than most folks have to preserve one like that.

ReplyDeleteFirstly I am sorry to hear the sad news about Clover.. you did what you could and thats about all you could do.
ReplyDeleteAs for this old bard it dose look in a bad way.. that back end is being push our from the foor collasping.... It looks beyond repair which is so sad as I have a liking for these barns now.

Nice barn pic Rose. I love the patina the colors have - I just don't know why people don't take care of things before it's too late.
