I just had to show you what the smoke bush is now doing...this is not the greatest photo but I was doing a couple things at once and did not download them till just now.
Yesterday I had one iris bloom almost all the way open and today I have half a dozen of these that are open plus dark purple ones, as well as the peach.
I think this barn scene just looks so inviting...I just had to share.
Very good macro photographs, but also the house in the meadow splendid!
ReplyDeleteI really like smoke bushes so I'm glad to see yours. Mine are just leafing out. No irises yet here, so it's great to see yours! I LOVE their aroma, it's so subtle. And the barn photo is really, really nice, Rose, framed by the trees, red with contrasted by green, and the bales of hay!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers but you know I really love the barn! That's a really nice one.
ReplyDeleteStunning pictures Rose
ReplyDeletelove the flowers.. in fact I've been out snapping away at some of our wild flowers.. and like you an old old barn and the farmhouse as well. You barn is certainly in better condation.
I love Smoke Bushes. Mine has been blooming for weeks now. Your Iris is so pretty...and I love the photo of the red barn.

The barn photo is amazing!
ReplyDeleteHi Rose, beautiful flower macro shots, also love the barns and being propped up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and your kind comments.
I just did come inside from taking pictures in my yard and one looks similar to your smoke bush. I'm still not sure of all the plants in my new yard. I even went back and looked at your previous photo - this is helping me a lot.
ReplyDeleteI took iris photos too - it must be flower photo day!
I liked the barn yesterday, but I love today's!
Wonderful post Rose.
