Camera critters
Three critters from our drive the other day...there's a turkey in that second one which you can see if you enlarge it. It was quite a distance away and my husband spotted it. I cropped the picture to be able to make it large enough on here to see. The box turtle was crossing the road, so I first took its photo, and then helped it on its way.

It's a wonderful feeling when you can get a pic of animals in the wild! Love these 3 pics!

ReplyDeleteAn enjoyable series. I always like how deer perk up and concentrate so completely when they see one us "humans." Nice shooting.
ReplyDeleteOh you really have some nice photos... that turtle is very well painted, isn't it? But the first one is very well done!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos. I am looking forward to a road trip this coming weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful assortment of critters! I love your beautiful header photo too. Thanks for visiting my blog. To answer your question, Trooper's mom is a Shepherd/Collie mix. We suspect he may have some Husky in him as well. He's definitely 100% love bug! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for helping the box turtle. Here we see snapping turtles and they don't really like being helped...Thanks for visiting my blog..
ReplyDeleteHi!

I've never seen a turtle of any kind in the wild. I'm glad you helped it across the street.
ReplyDeleteLOL I wondered what your first CC link had to do with critters but I left a comment anyway :) Thought maybe there were all just dead critters lol
Great pictures! I won't show my husband either the deer or turkey pics, though, all he would be able to think would be "where's my shotgun??" I love being able to see wildlife while out for a drive.
ReplyDeleteGreat series of photos! I love the turkey and deer! Great CC post!
ReplyDeleteDidn't Roger have his gun when you saw these? :) We could be eating well right now. :)

ReplyDeleteWere you in my backyard? :)
I read Neal's comment - just shaking my head!
Thanks for thinking about me this morning. It slipped my mind about linking. I'm so used to doing it for other memes at night.
Aww so sweet to help that turtle. All three good shots. Started doing Camera Critters now too, in addition to Sky Watch. Looked fun after seeing it on many skywatchers blogs.
ReplyDeleteLove these pictures! It looks like you have a lot of wildlife around you. That's my kind of place ;-)

Nice viewing on your drive! The turtle looks like someone painted banners and turrets on it's shell, looks a litte medieval or something.
ReplyDeleteReally great shots, especially the turtle!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good drive if you saw that many critters. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I love the first one. Such lovely surroundings. How kind of you to help that turtle cross safely.
