Something simple
I like this picture...I am not sure if my husband understood why I wanted to take it. I can't even explain why I like it. It was definitely the wrong time of day to take it but I have to take pictures when I have the chance. Also, since getting this laptop, I have a real hard time knowing if the picture is too dark or too light. Does anyone have a sure-fire way to deal with that?

I love it Rose - simple country beauty! Sure evokes simple times.
ReplyDeleteRose, I know what you mean about the laptop and wondering if the pic is too light or too dark, I have the same problem at times. But your picture is beautiful and perfect on my laptop screen. The leaves create a delicate and gentle touch on the post and the colour blend is lovely.
ReplyDeleteSometimes those odd simple photos are the ones that are best! This is great and I see why it drew your eye. I don't like the way photos look on the laptop either and have trouble telling if the color is right. I try to use the regular computer mostly...easier on my eyes. Do you have the laptop plugged in or using batteries? Mine is darker when on batteries....an energy saving feature.
ReplyDeleteI like this photo, too. Sometimes you don't have to explain or know why but simply know that you like the photo. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like the post and its interesting decoration. I think it makes an interesting picture.
ReplyDeleteRose: A neat photo for certain, i see why you took it.
ReplyDeleteBTW: Buckeye flowers, never tried to smell them. I will next year.
Good eye, Rose.....this is a great scene to catch. Who cares if the husbands don't understand.....I know all about that, too!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's beautiful. I love how delicate the leaves are, making a rough old fencepost pretty.
ReplyDeleteSome of my favourite photos are the everyday things around us that we take for granted, lovely as they are.
