Something simple

I like this picture...I am not sure if my husband understood why I wanted to take it. I can't even explain why I like it. It was definitely the wrong time of day to take it but I have to take pictures when I have the chance. Also, since getting this laptop, I have a real hard time knowing if the picture is too dark or too light. Does anyone have a sure-fire way to deal with that?

  2. Rose, I know what you mean about the laptop and wondering if the pic is too light or too dark, I have the same problem at times. But your picture is beautiful and perfect on my laptop screen. The leaves create a delicate and gentle touch on the post and the colour blend is lovely.

  3. Sometimes those odd simple photos are the ones that are best! This is great and I see why it drew your eye. I don't like the way photos look on the laptop either and have trouble telling if the color is right. I try to use the regular computer mostly...easier on my eyes. Do you have the laptop plugged in or using batteries? Mine is darker when on batteries....an energy saving feature.

  4. I like this photo, too. Sometimes you don't have to explain or know why but simply know that you like the photo. ;-)

  8. Oh, it's beautiful. I love how delicate the leaves are, making a rough old fencepost pretty.

Some of my favourite photos are the everyday things around us that we take for granted, lovely as they are.
