Virginia creeper

As fall approaches, almost everywhere we go, we notice the Virginia creeper climbing trees. I am always trying to capture its beauty, but feel the photos always fall just a little bit short of the actual beauty.

  1. It is always a surprise to look at and see the bright red through the other foliage.
I've been thinking too that I can't get it to look as bright as it really does.
I do love your last image.

  2. Beautiful colour, isn't it? I'll be posting a couple of photos of it on Friday so we are on a similar wavelength. ;-)

  3. Thank you for this post! We have this brilliant red all over the place, looks really cool, but I wasn't sure if it was Virginia creeper or not, and haven't taken the time to track down the name yet.

  5. It's appearance is very attractive in among all the other greens. Looks very good to me, but I haven't seen Virginia Creeper in person either! :-) Nice series.

  10. Oh, your photos do capture the beauty, don't worry! We have this Virginia creeper all over in Iowa, too. It must have "creeped" all across the U.S.!
