The flower is lovely, but the barn...there's just something about old barns.
ReplyDeleteI might even like the one below better. We are such critical of our own photographs sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI love this style barn with the two side extensions, Rose. I wonder what this style is called.
ReplyDeleteRose, you know I love it! (the barn and the flower!)
ReplyDeleteOh if this is your official entry then welcome!! We have a lot of fun and Mary is just terrific!!:-)
ReplyDeleteoh I love old barns. This is fantastic and just perfect for sepia tones.
ReplyDeleteWow you did a fantastic job!!

I am so happy to be seeing sepia barns today! This one is quite different from most with the wings either side. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThe sepia toning looks great on this fine looking barn. Fine post!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely barn photo :O)
ReplyDeletePerfect Rose!
ReplyDeleteI just commented on another barn saying that old barns are the perfect sepia subject. This one is very nice.
Hope looking at Lily's pics has you even more excited about being a Grandma. :) It's a wonderful experience.
You got that on a chrome?? Wow. That's amazing.
ReplyDeleteI am awed. I could never get exposures like that on slide film. (Then again, I rarely shot anything that wasn't on skates on slide film either so that could've had something to do with it.)
Oh Rose, this is a really good sepia photo, I like it very much! I'll join Sepia Scenes next week - this will be very interesting!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the entire view of the place, with a tree popping up from behind.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful one :)
Nice choice for Sepia Scenes.
ReplyDeleteBarns and sepia are just the most perfect partners.
ReplyDeleteBoth barns really lend themselves to sepia. I really like the noise you added in the one pic, it ages the photo really well.
ReplyDeleteRose, is that barn in your area? I really like it. It's kind of unique. I'll bet the side parts have been added after the fact. It looks like it's been patched above the double doors. Notice that it has lightening rods on it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I always love taking photos of barns! Nicely captured!~
ReplyDeleteMine is here. Happy SS!
Great barn! Sepia seems perfect for something that old.
ReplyDeleteBoth of your barnsa are great. Sepia lends a certain "something", to them.
ReplyDeleteHi Rose,
ReplyDeleteI always love to see an old barn and they are perfect for sepia!
Thanks for visiting my sepia :0)
this is a lovely shot, I like the tree popping up too
ReplyDeletegreat job rose...i just love sepia tone pics!
ReplyDeletelaurie
Wonderful barn shot. It's so sharp, and the texture shows so well. I like the one below too, but this one could be a postcard.
ReplyDeleteOh i love this shot, and what you did with it. Now tell me what are those things sticking out of the barn. These old barns sure have a fantastic history if they could talk
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the stop over
Perfect sepia tone, Rose! Good job! :)
