Sepia Scenes

I have posted the above on the Black and White blog, and had it ready to use here, but forgot about it. It was taken last year. I have also posted the one below on this blog, but not in sepia. I was looking at my photos today and it struck me that this would make a good sepia scene...I sometimes think things and am disappointed with the results, but I do like this.Click on the badge at the top if you want to view more sepia scenes, or if you want join.

  1. Very nice. I particularly like the way the fog gives that second one an almost painted look.

  2. Very nice, Rose. Looks like you all got alot of snow. We had just a TAD.. Hope you didn't get that horrible ice.

I like sepia--but my fav's are still the old barns.

  3. I like them both, Rose. I know what you mean about trying something in B&W or in sepia and realizing they don't work. These here are successful, though. ;-)

  4. I like this too. The old tree has an extra appearance of age in sepia and the Milkweed Pod is lovely!

  5. I like the first one a lot, but I love the second one. It's got an eerie snarl to it... very edgy.

  10. The 2nd picture of the tree with fog all around it is making it very delightful. With a sense of mystery! :)

  13. Love both of these! The bottom tree looks haunting. I forgot to do sepia yesterday...darn. Maybe I should try it on my ice and snow photos.
