Ruby Tuesday
This is a Antique/used furniture/junk store...not very much actual junk. It is a place I like to go and look...you never know what treasure you might find at a place like this.
I still have company, so visiting will be limited. I have meant to post this for the past couple of weeks and keep forgetting that I had it.

This looks like a fascinating place to wander around.
ReplyDeleteAntique stores have an automatic fascination with all the "stuff" that is there....and the prize that might be there. Fine shot.
ReplyDeleteWe used to drive by a lil place like this on our way to St Louis when I was a kid & every time I'd see the "Antiques" sign, I'd say Anti-Q's - that's how I'd pronounce it! Mom & dad couldn't figure out what I was talking about for the longest time, but I pointed it out finally & they corrected me! hehehe
ReplyDeleteI love to look in places like this but I never find anything good. Probably because I don't know what I'm looking for.
ReplyDeleteGreat "Ruby Tuesday" post, Rose... I love old stores like that... I can always find some special treasures in stores like that.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your company.
Hugs,
Betsy
I love the anticipation of going in a store like that - like I'm going to find something I didn't know I needed, or something that will 'change my life'!
ReplyDeleteQuite the collection of odds and ends. I bet a person could get lost in the store for a long time trying to see it all.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I enjoy looking for treasures too. But I have a shorter attention span for it than my husband. Good thing I have discovered photography. When he wants to keep on looking I can always go outside and shoot a few photos. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThere's 2 awards waiting for you on my page - Swing by & take a look see!
ReplyDeleteWe have many of these type of stores here and I do enjoy them but I try not to visit anymore - I just don't need the 'stuff'!!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd boy could I bring stuff home if I let myself.
I love popping into these places...sometimes I find something and sometimes I don't.
