Too tired to think....

This is the Bubbie...this was taken two or three weeks ago. It is hard to take a picture of any of my babies. They never stay still long enough for a good photo, unless they are sleeping. I just wondered if you could see the gleam of mischief in his eyes, and look at his smile....can you see how the corners of his mouth turn up. We call that his smiley face.

He likes to spend time outside, and when we come home, he comes out to the garage to meet us. He tries to hide at the corner and jump out to grab us, but he just cannot hold still long enough...so he comes out and comes to meet us then races to the house ahead of us.

Or if I am out, he likes for me to chase him...then he will turn around and chase me and jump up and pretend to grab me. Like a big cat hunting...

We are still working on getting stuff transferred to the basement. I got my shelves moved down today...and a filing cabinet. I got some of the stuff put back on the shelves, but not near all.

And during it all, the cats were up and down with me/us. If they only had thumbs, they could help carry stuff...

What a handsome boy! I have three who greet me when I come, unfortunately I don't think it's love, I think it's lunch.

I do see the smile!
I don't envy the transferring around. I'm getting ready to clean the garage. I have unpacked boxes since we moved. I haven't been in them in four years so obviously I don't need what's in them. :)

A great looking cat! Your description adds to his picture in that we learn of his disposition and personality. Good description.

I wonder what Bubbie was up to when you took his picture. It certainly is a good portrait of him.

That is a ice picture of Bubbie. Patches follows us all over the house too. I only wish she wouldn't follow us outside!

Oh Bubbie looks exactly like a cat we had about a year ago. His name was "Hodini". Being that he showed up at my house one morning right after I ran over "puddy cat" (that's another story). Anyway, I put Hodini in a cat proof lot the first night and the next morning he had escaped. Thus came the name. But he was still there and became one of my favorite cats of all time. He lived with us for two years and disappeared again. I never knew what happened to him. I guess he tried to live up to his name.

Great photo....what an expression he seems to have. My cats won't hold still for photos either. I sneaked a couple of Ozma while we were both "bird watching" today.
