Acquisitions...

I am working on another crumb quilt top and this time I was determined to have some gray.  I first picked up some at Stitch & Sew in Arthur, Illinois.  I found a gray on sale, and got all they had of it, thinking it would be enough.  Wrong....I needed about 6 more inches.

I decided to use it on half the blocks and use another gray on the rest of the blocks.  So ordered these from Thousands of Bolts.
The one in the upper left corner has done been cut...well, over half of it has been cut.
I am going to use some of the one above in the quilt top also...
And I got this one just because I liked it...

Pretty fabrics, Rose. My bedroom and bath have gray, lavender/purple. I see a lot of yellow and gray in the stores, too.

I LOVE polka dots! But in this case, I like the pretty, soothing, neutral greys better! Why CRUMB??

That is going to be pretty when done.

The fabric in the first pic is very pretty. I like the leaves. I am always so amazed how you people can quilt and sew and stuff. I can sew a button on! Lol. And that's even crooked... :)

I look forward to seeing how this quilt turns out. It will be unusual and I suspect stunning!
