I have had the above book for a number of years, and just thought I would see if it is available for the kindle. I am now tempted to buy the kindle version of it.
Anyway, if you like dogs, have had a dog, or known someone that has had a dog, I highly recommend this book. Buster's Diaries, The True Story of a Dog and His Man is one of the best I have ever read. Click on the link and go to Amazon and read the exerpt. I don't think you will regret it. It is laugh out loud funny for me...bits and pieces so remind me of Keesha. It also shows just what we have always thought...that the cats and dogs own us...not us owning them.
i love a book that makes me laugh.
ReplyDeleteOh boy!! I like a laugh out loud book. I have seen this before and will try to get it. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love a book store and could be in one for hours and hours. Love it!!!!! MB
Looks good, I have a few books about famous authors and their dogs, but not this one.
ReplyDeleteLooks good, Rose. I love books about animals --and ones that are full of humor. Thanks for the review.

Oh I just love it when you get lost in a book - especially a funny one :)
ReplyDeleteSounds great - thanks for the tip.
ReplyDeleteOh, I need to read it! Thanks Rose!
ReplyDeleteI went and read the excerpt. It wasn't long enough! I was just getting interested, then Wham! That's it. boo. More please. I guess I'll have to buy the book.
ReplyDeleteA fine picture and suggestion. I'll pass this along to my daughter and husband who own two dogs.
ReplyDeleteI have never read the book, and we don't have a dog, but a lot of our neighbors to.
ReplyDeleteI would love to read this book. i agree that cat;s and dog's own us :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I have our kindles linked together so we can read the same book. She started borrowing from her library so we read for free.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, I can get lost in the Amazon store.
Thanks for the tip, Rose. I'll look for this book...after I finish a few of the books I already have as I bought a few at a library book sale a little while back. :)
