Waiting on the wisteria

Here it is the middle of May, and my wisteria still has not got any blossoms open.  The one above was take April 24 of last year.  I just love wisteria and can't wait for it to bloom.

Roger is getting the new faucet on the new sink...he puts the faucet on before he sets the sink in the counter.  I have it cleaned out under the sink.  No, I did not take a picture....that is one place I don't want to share with anyone.  Though it is basically just cleaning supplies, a flower vase or two for bringing in my own bouquets if I want, and cleaning rags.  Still, it was not a pretty sight.

It is acting like it could rain but it is still warm.  The mosquitoes are going to be horrible this year.  I can hardly sit in the swing unless I do burn these coils...not sure what they are but they actually work and keep the mosquitoes away.

    we used to burn those coils at the drive in theater in Savannah GA there was no way to watch a movie in the summer without 2 coils burning. one for front one for back.
    i have not seen one of those in 50 years and did not know they still make them. they do work. that wisteria is so beautiful and i love when it is hanging on a fence with all those blooms

    I love wisteria, too. What a gorgeous color! I think it is cool when it isn't blooming as well. Those vines just wrap themselves around stuff so artistically.

    You are so lucky you can grow wisteria. I live one growing zone too cold, I fear. I planted one a few years ago but it never grows more than a foot high.

    My wisteria began blooming before we went to see the grandkids. By the time we got back it was all green leaf and the vines are taking over. Mine was about a month late so hopefully yours won't be much longer.

    Love the color...to me it is a flower with memory from the past, hanging over a white picket fence or arbor.

    I think Wisteria is so beautiful and smells so good. I like the purple and it drapes over everything so well. I hope yours blooms soon. MB

    A beautiful shot of the wisteria. I think most "under the sink" scenes would not make pretty pictures. Mine wouldn't for sure. :-)

    I've seen tons of wisteria blooming around here. Hope yours blooms soon.

    Under my sink is also full of kitchen supplies plus plus plus....Like Fibber Magee's Closet!!!!! ha ha
