Lorelei let her mom know she has really been missing us. And wants to come down next weekend, but wants her mom to stay home. That is a sure sign she has recovered fully from her surgery...she hasn't wanted to be ten feet from her mom in a long while. With her being sick off and on and other things happening, it has been ages since she has been here.
Though she did tell me over the holidays that she is going to come when it is summer and spend four days with us. Of course she told me what we were going to do those days...go to the park one day, go fishing at the creek another day, etc. I told her so long as it don't rain. She said we could change our mind then...
I can't wait for the weekend now....
It's wonderful to know Lorelei is feeling much better. She sounds so organized! ;)

ReplyDeleteA fine snowy road picture. We've had so little snow this year it's surprising. The ground is bare and daytime temperatures in the high 40s.

I'm a little shaken. We had a near-miss-head-on car accident yesterday afternoon when a car was coming straight toward us in OUR lane. We swerved and went into the ditch. Luckily, we are fine and no damage to the car --other than being dirty. BUT--we were just lucky that the ditch wasn't steep…. SCARY!

ReplyDeleteOh, I sure hope you don't get that much snow! I've had enough of the white stuff, but it's just the middle of January, so who knows what we'll be getting. I do hope the weather is good and Lorelei gets to your house for the weekend!
