Quilting has begun

I finally felt settled enough to start quilting on the baby quilt...the shower is July 12th so it is about time I got it started.
It is not really a design...it is just something to hold the layers together.  I really have moved along nicely today.  If nothing happens and if I don't run out of thread, I could finish it tomorrow.  But I am really afraid I will run out of thread.  I took time and ordered another spool today.  I won't have to wait long for it.

If I run out, I will make the binding for it while I wait for the thread to get here.  Usually I make the binding before I start the quilting but have not felt like doing anything till today.  Not that I felt that sick...just mentally could not settle down to going down in the basement to work.

  1. just gorgeous Rose. It's a shame we didn't live closer as I would drop of Corinne's quilt that needs quilting....LOL It's another twin size one and she refuses to pay for it to be quilted. Reckons I can do as good a job. I HATE quilting big quilts.....
