Look at his feet....enlarge the pic if you want. He is getting ready to turn around and face to the right. It makes me smile.
These were taken in the middle of the day...hot, and humid. Across a field. I know they are not that great...but still I am not too terrible disappointed. They are cropped...taken with my little P&S camera.

I have spent hours looking at books trying to decide what I want to read. There are just too many to choose from. Hoping I can settle in to one soon....I just always have to have something I am reading. How about you...is there a certain subject you always look for or a certain type of book. And do you read a variety of types of books?
Love your photos.
ReplyDeleteWe've had rain most of today.
I love mysteries, but nothing too scary. Peg Cochran has some good mysteries.
Fun photos of the hawk, Rose. I read different types of books and, like you, I like to always have one on hand. I just finished a collection of short stories by a Canadian author, Carol Shields. Tonight I will have to dig into my box of books bought at a used-book-sale to select a new book, which I think will be light fiction...but we'll see. :) I just got back from an author reading hosted by the Friends of the East Gwillimbury Library (I'm a member) and that was fun! But I I wasn't tempted to purchase the author's latest book.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't help but think 'Abooouuuut FACE' when I saw the photos, lol.
ReplyDeleteI read a variety of books, just don't fancy romances much.
Wonderful photos of the hawk. I do so love seeing the different birds around the world.
ReplyDeleteHawk looks like it's doing a little Irish jig on the fence post.
ReplyDeletegreat shot, have no seen one sitting that close to the ground. i read every day of my life, several hours of every day.. and have since i was a child. if i had to choose between my kindle, TV and computer, the Kindle would win... i read only fiction and love suspense and thriller and mysteries. once i start a book i can't stand to put it down until i am finished, i read 3 to 4 books a week
ReplyDeleteRose, I love the raptors, as they have so much character. Great picture.
ReplyDeleteLove the Hawk . I think they are good pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love to read too. Right now I am reading a Longmire mystery. I like James Patterson and I like books about people---well i like lots of different types. If it holds me i'll read it.
