Red-bellied visitor....

The Red-bellied Woodpecker visits any time there is suet out, and sometimes when it isn't...he comes and looks sternly about as if to say to get moving and get his meal out.
****************
I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...I doubt that I post any more till after Christmas, and possibly till after the 1st.

Wonderful capture of the Red-bellied Woodpecker. His relatives have been visiting us, as well.

Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy New Year to you and your family, Rose. I hope you get to spend a lot of time with your sweet little elf! :-)

Merry Christmas to you and the family, Rose.

Love your Red-bellied... We have them here also... Neat woodpeckers.

I'm sure you will be spending as much time with Lorelei over the holidays as possible.

Hugs,
Betsy

Red Bellies visit my feeder too and I KNOW that look!! Yesterday he turned up his beek because I put out regular suet and not a WOOKPECKER variety in the feeder he likes the best.

with the weather being so warm lately the woodpeckers are out. they were very busy on Christmas day. i had to travel to my parents & they were chirping and flying around like silly birds. i guess this really confuses them or what not??!

what did Lorelei get for Christmas, i bet your spoiled her tons, which is what family is suppose to do, right??! ( :
