Smile!

Lorelei, along with a friend helped Sarah babysit a little one for a friend of theirs...can you see the joy on Lorelei's face?  (Don't you like my artwork in hiding the face?)

**************
Roger is pretty much back to normal...or what passes for normal for us any more.     It is a real relief to have him want something to eat.

************

Bubbie sleeps like this quite often...would you believe he is almost 12 years old.  and was the runt of the litter?  He is just the lovingest boy.  A happy cat.

***********
Is anyone else watching/or have you watched this season of Call The Midwife?   It is wonderful as always.

How about Mrs. Wilson?  Have you seen either season of it?  I watched the 2018 season I think, but didn't recall it being based on real people.  I highly recommend it.

My hyacinths are in full bloom...the trillium is about 6 inches tall but no blooms yet.  But I don't think it will be long.  And the blue bells have buds but no blooms....

Hope you all have a good week ahead...

  1. How long has Lorelei been wearing glasses? Our Anne Mare has had them for some time, and has just switched to contacts. The baby's face is so funny! I am so glad to hear about Roger!!!

  2. Yes, I do enjoy Call the Midwife and in fact just finished watching a new episode on TV.
It's easy to see Lorelei loves holding and caring for that baby. Your paper face is perfect for hiding the little one's face.

  4. PBS has great programming. I get angry when politicians talk about cutting funding. Those two girls look so happy. Your's is growing up so quickly. Aren't you amazed at how much time our pets spend sleeping? I call them Power Naps. Take a nap and tear around again then zonk out again, lol. Glad Roger is feeling better.

  5. Even though I can't see the baby's face, the chubby little legs are so very sweet!

Thanks for the heads-up on Call the Midwife. It isn't up on Netflix yet (can't get local programming, behind a big hill) but I will keep an eye out for it.

  6. what fun to see blooming flowers and not at the grocery store!! Darling pics of the kids.
I watched Mrs. Wilson the last 2 Sundays and was disappointed it was just a 3 episode series. I'll have to look at the pbs website to see if there is more.
thanks for commenting on my blog. I recommend reading CJ box books in order. I even got hubby hooked on reading them.
I'm glad spring is happening somewhere.

  8. A lovely series of photos, sweet ones of Lorelei and her friend with the baby and yes I liked your artwork :) Glad to hear Roger is doing better and your trilliums are very pretty. My hostas are just showing shoots. I couldn't get into the Call the Midwife series but should give it another try as a couple of my friends love it. Haven't heard of Mrs. Wilson, will take a look sometime. Bubbie looks such a cute cat and very content.

  9. Lorelei has always looked like the happiest child. I think she finds joy in helping others. You did good covering the baby's face. :) I love those little chubby legs. I don't see Call the Midwife, but would probably love it. I love those British shows. I wonder if we get a channel that carries that??
