I was going through and deleting a bunch of photos from my phone...I need to delete a whole lot more! But that is not the point. I came across a poem...I don't know where I got it or if I found it...I can find no information on the author. But it fits so well the thoughts that goes through my mind when I pass/photograph old houses.
I hope you can read it...if not you should be able to click and open in a new tab and then expand the view.

I ran across so many memories...just on my phone. I hate to think how long it would take to go through all my photos!
I always have similar thoughts when I see old houses. Great poem! I have over 16,000 photos on my IPad.

ReplyDeleteIt really does say it all. I can’t remember all the thoughts I have when I see them I just love looking at old houses and wondering who lived in them where they are at all. I love that picture you put with it too

ReplyDeleteI used to have a ton of pictures on my phone but now that they all go to google photos I delete them after I've used them for my blog.
Love the poem and photo! I load my phone photos onto my desktop and than I back them up on to my extra external hard drive. Take care, enjoy your day!

The poem is perfect for that picture!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I see old abandoned homes I often wonder about who may have lived there and the lives they led. It is sort of sad to see an old home looking so forlorn and lonely - the poem sums it up perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThe poem fits perfectly for old houses.
ReplyDeleteI don't save any pictures on my phone. I delete them after I put them on my computer and even delete them if I have them on my blog.
