I did not know

I did not know that hydrangeas came in this hot pink color, till this bloomed.  this is an okay picture...but could be better.

It has been a long day...finally took Roger to get new glasses...I am not saying how long it had been since he had been.  I don't think his vision had changed much but should have had him in to have his eyes checked for anything else going on.

I am too tired to type much of anything, so will close with saying that is about all I did today.  The dr. was thorough and she spoke in a voice that he could hear...which was wonderful

  2. I did not know they had this color either! Mostly I have just seen pale pastel. Glad his eyes are alright!

  3. Even if taking Roger to have his eyes checked was the only thing that got done it was an important 'thing' and won't need doing again for quite a long time.

  4. It can be hard sometimes being a support person. You are doing well, Rose, even if you sometimes feel tired because of it. Big hugz, Mxx

  5. it is so important that people talking to seniors be aware and talk louder for those who can't hear. some just don't even try.. I drag bob once a year even though he doesn't need glasses for long distance just to make sure his eyes are healthy. he doesn't get it, and says I see fine..

  9. I think when you say that's about all, that was a lot. We both need to get our eyes checked here. It's on our list. Those hydrangeas are a beautiful color!

  10. Well done to get him in to have his eyes checked. It can be so exhausting to go but so worth it in the long run. Kudos to the doctor that talks loud enough so all can hear.
