Hopefully the last for a while...

I am going to try not to start another one...but I have said that before and it didn't last more than two or three days.  I just enjoy them so much.  They are great while way 5 minutes for this or 10 for that..

**************                                                                                                                   I actually got this quit top layered with the backing and batting and pin basted and ready to quilt.  IF I could just make up my mind whether to hand quilt of machine quilt.  And with either one, I have to decide how to quilt...the stitching design I mean.  It is about 54-56 inches square.

Other than that, I have not done very much...a load of laundry, and dishes.  And it was so warm I got to sit outside and read!  And finished my Alaska book.  I started a new book:  I Love You, Miss Huddleston: and other Inappropriate Longings of My Indiana Childhood by Philip Gulley.  I think it will probably be a light, enjoyable read.

  1. I love doing puzzles, it’s hard for me to quit. That’s a pretty one. Your quilt is lovely! Nice to be able to sit outside. The weather has been great. Thanks for the book titles. I am always looking for something new.

  3. That sure is a nice puzzle! Your quilt is really nice too. To hand quilt or by machine...that is the question. I wonder which it will be.

  4. Ohhhhh, your orange peel quilt is so pretty. If I was quilting it on my long arm I might echo the peels then put ribbon candy in the peels...maybe...might have to think on it more.

  5. What a nice puzzle that is. I would think with colder weather on it's way it would be a good time of year to keep on doing them.
    That quilt is very pretty.

  6. I think you should keep a puzzle going, it is Excercise for your mind and builds brain cells to replace the ones we lose while aging. I wish I liked them and could do one... i like the quilt and who knew how many decisions have to be made for a quilt

  8. Like MadSnapper, I feel you should continue. I try and do a puzzle online most days, for the same reason. And, besides, why deny yourself something you really love doing? It surely isn't like you spend all your time doing it. Doing what you enjoy and enjoying what you are doing is a recipe for happiness :)
