Peek-a-boo!

Not the greatest lighting...and these are just a small cropped portion of the original photos.

Both were taken with my phone.  It finally ran when I got up to come inside.  I should go out there with my good camera.

************                                                                                                                 I got my hair cut today...I always feel so much better when it is done.  I just dread making the appts so bad.  I am lucky in that I can usually call and get in in the same day or the next day.

Does anyone else have a lot of cardboard?  I get so many things in shipments...that every so often I have a pile of it.  If there was an easy way to recyle it I would, but it is not that easy.  And we don't have a lot all the time.  Anyway, I broke down my latest boxes.  It was hot in the garage when I was doing that.

And I have did a load of laundry...that has been my chores today in addition to the usual Mcdonald's run for Roger and fixing his meals and snacks.  Now it is time to give meds.  Never a dull moment in this house.

  1. Cute photos of the rabbit. Yes, we get a lot of cardboard too. We bring it to the dump and put it in the recycling bin.
I love the feeling after a hair cut too. Ken trims mine. :)

  2. Keep a large box in the garage. Break down any box that comes in. Then make a trip every 6 months to recycle. OR, offer cardboard to gardeners and small farms nearby. They will use it! Please don't landfill it.

LOVE the bunny. We have a few that run through our yard daily. So fun :-)

  4. I do tend to save good cardboard, hoping there will be a good use for it sometime. There never is, except right after I have thrown it away!

  5. Cute rabbit. I tend to save boxes that I get deliveries in. It will pile up until I get tired of it and throw them away.

  7. Love your bunny. We use our boxes for our eBay things we send. They do get a bit overwhelming sometimes though.

  8. We always break down our large cardboard boxes and when there is a decent pile son drops them off at the recycle centre in town. Guess we are lucky to have that (on the farm we used to just burn everything).

  9. Know what you mean. We break down our cardboard too. I tried standing on them to flatten them but unless you've got something to hang on to, that can be dangerous I found out! Love the cute bunny! I had a doctor's appointment at 8.00 a.m. and we went to Mcdonalds for breakfast. Not something we do all the time because we never get out before 10.30 usually and it was such a nice treat. Have a great day Rose :)

  10. We are so lucky that our granddaughter Kate was a hairdresser ( she prefers bookkeeping nowadays) and she faithfully comes and cuts family members hair right here. We're so spoiled. We would hate making appts too, not to mention paying $20 each time.

  11. Hello,
Cute bunny! We have recycle pickup once a week, so all the cardboard goes out at once a week. Take care, enjoy your day!
