From the past

The trees are basically naked now....ours are anyway,  I see a few down the way that still has green, and I am wondered what they are.  Anyway, this is a shot from several years ago, but I have posted it more than once.  I just simple loved all the color.  It was almost unreal.  And I love that old tractor sitting under the tree.

I have done nothing today except make a small pot of chili...oh, of course I made the run to Mcdonald's.  And I had did dishes.  Other than that just a few piddling things.

And I have worked a lot on my current puzzle.  I want to get it done.  It has been a hard one.  It is THIS ONE.

  1. Oh that puzzle looks hard! Too hard for me, anyway.
I would have missed that tractor under the tree. Sure is pretty ( the tree, not the tractor).

  2. The wolf puzzle is a beauty. We have several put aside for the winter season but we don’t want to start one yet. We are enjoying time outdoors…for now.

  6. Oh I like that puzzle. It would go well with several pictures I have in my house. That tree is pretty and the tractor sitting under it makes it the perfect country scene.

  8. It’s a gorgeous tree and the tractor was a lovely addition. I am glad you shared it again as I didn’t remember it from before. The puzzle I would have chosen too. Chili sounds great and the trip to McDonalds. Sounds like a real nice day.

  9. my son worked with wolves for a summer, when he was 15, trying to keep him in school. he went to school that year at a wildlife place that had school 3 hours a day for kids at risk and the rest of the time they worked with the wildlife that had been rescued. since then he collects all things wolves. that puzzle is beautiful. I drove a tractor when I was 12 just like the one under the glowing trees in your photo

  10. Sometimes "piddling" is good for the soul. I have to admit I do it quite often.
Love old tractors and "farm-y" things. Beautiful picture.

  11. We have a puzzle very similar to that one. It is a challenge but then I like a challenge.
Most all the leaves are off the trees here too but some still holding on.
