Sunshine

I read what his is called but for the life of me don't have a clue now...maybe when I post the other pic over on my other blog we can read the tag.  Whatever it is, I love it.  I have never seen this type of glassware? or whatever it is called.  But it makes my heart sing.  And there was several pieces, though I only took two pics of any of it.

Sunshine is another thing that makes my heart sing...specially after having two or three days where it has not shown itself.  Though I dread cold weather, I can deal with it as long as there is a lot of sun.  One year, we had so little sun, I thought winter was never going to end.

I had errands to run...I had a return to Amazon so the drop off I use is just a couple miles away.  I had a bag of various things to take to Good Will...there were some clothes.  You would be proud of me...I donated some capris I have kept for several years but have not worn.  I don't recall why I stopped wearing them, but I did stop.  They were well made and so comfortable...

I also donated a few more books...I have really thinned out the books.  Some I know I won't ever read because the print is really small and the pages very yellowed.   There was a few other things in there but can't recall exactly what as it has been added to the bag over time.

I also had to run by Walmart for about half a dozen things, one of which was an extra half gallon of chocolate ice cream.  Roger has some every night.  I do occasionally.

I have taken the garbage bin out to the road for pick up tomorrow, and am going to get my pjs on here shortly, even though the sun is still shining...

  1. It's lovely when you have a sunny day isn't it.
Unfortunately in my part of the UK we've had a lot of grey, gloomy cloud!
Hopefully a little bit of blue sky soon.

    I do like that piece.

    All the best Jan

  2. If the capris were so comfy, why did you donate them? Just wondering...I am the same as you, can deal with winter as long as there is sun.

  4. Your newest piece of glassware is so lovely. Could it be a cruet? To me it almost looks like it could be.

  6. Granny is right, its a Fenton cranberry coin dot cruet - Ruby Lane
I found it with Google search lens and there are two of eBay 88 and 110 dollars. It is beautiful, I love it and it is cranberry color which I have in every room in the house
I love this post, each thing you told me was interesting to me. even the shopping part. you are now MadSnapper #2 telling what you did with your day. My blog has become a journal of each day.
40 years ago I would have wanted the cruet, now I think who would dust it.
I am looking at my nook in the dark right now and its so pretty, but yesterday in the bright sun, and you know I love sunshine, and wow is it dusty.

  7. Hello,
It is good to get rid of things you do not need. Sunshine is always welcome, but we could use some rain here. Take care, have a great day!

  8. I think I am partial to sunshine too. It always makes me feel better. Getting rid of things always makes me feel better too. There can be separation anxiety but once it's gone what a relief.
