Another finish

 I finished this last week, I think.  You might think I spend way too much time on puzzles.  You would probably be correct.  I need to get something situated to do by hand in the odd moments that I am waiting.  I feel like I spend a lot time waiting on things...waiting for oven to heat up or on the timer in cooking, waiting a few minutes on the dryer to be done, waiting to put laundry from washer to dryer, etc.

I used to always have some hand sewing to do in spare moments.  And for moments I managed to fine.  And I still like hand sewing...I just don't seem to do anything about it.

We just had a storm roll through...it got almost dark for a few minutes, and now the sun is out...for the first time today.  I need to walk out and get the mail before another storm rolls in...unless maybe it really is done.  

Copper's favorite place for a true storm is in our closet...and he spent the worst of it in there.  He is a character...he has eyes for no one else when his mom is home...unless he wants something when we are eating.  He knows I am the one more apt to share with him.

 From the antique mall...Gilley's in Plainfield, Indiana to be exact.  I thought this set beautiful.  I have no place to put it but I did think of another blogger and wondered if she would like it.  It is not her usual style, but I think she would still think it pretty,

************                                                                                                                 I made a run to Walmart his morning...I go every week without fail almost.  The bad thing is, I thought of something I needed before I got up but could not think what it was after I was up.  I tried going through the aisles mentally, picturing what is in them and nothing jumped out at me.  

Ah, well, I would not mind going back in a few days as something is starting to bloom outside the parking lot, and I for sure want to be there to take pictures at some point.

I think I am fixing BLTs for supper.  A BLT sounds good to me, no matter what time of year it is.  I will first check with Roger and see if it sounds agreeable to him.  I have yet to see him not want one but there is a first time for everything.

I have been upstairs to vacuum but did not play with fabric or sewing at all.  I am hoping to feel like going back up later.

From Eagle Creek Nursery

This is another flower from the Eagle Creek Nursery.

It is another hot day here in Indiana...I did get out this morning and pull some thistles out of the flowers.  I don't think they are the big pretty kind.  I sure would like to see some of them blooming.  

I did a bit of housework...vacuuming, laundry, etc.  I have not made it up to sew a single stitch.  I need to give Roger his meds and I will basically be done for the night except for a snack for him later.

How was your day?  Did you do anything fun?  I did enjoy your answers to the term you use for being very tired.  I use worn to a frazzle, exhausted, too weary to do another thing...and more besides.  Every evening about this time, I feel that way, but sometimes if I rest, I will feel like doing something more.
