A few daylilies for Today's Flowers...

I thought for Today's Flowers I would go back to the summer of 2013 and share a few of the daylilies from a place not far from here.  We have meant to take Lorelei there ever since we went and for one reason and another have not done it yet.
I wish I had taken a photo of the name of each.
Some are just a shade different from others...
I forget how many different varieties they had, but I think it was in the hundreds.  And they were all just gorgeous.

  2. They are beautiful. I always think I will remember the names but of course we know that just isn't possible. Not for me anyway.

  3. My mother and I once had a lot of daylilies...her favorite colors were lavender and purple, but we had bunches of other colors too. I sure miss them in the garden, but it was too big of a job to move them when we moved.
These are just beautiful and I appreciate that you shared them here. Have a nice weekend, Rose.

  4. These are gorgeous. We have a day lily place not too far from the house, and they have so many of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen. Isn’t it nice that we all have our archives to go back to at times like this.

  8. Day Lilly are my all time favorite flowers. I add some to my garden around our small pond every year. This year I found a lovely deep burgundy with creamy center called Chicago Cherokee. I couldn't resist.
