Into the white...

We had appointments about an hour north of us today...this is the sort of day it was.  I had thought about cancelling, but got to thinking about if it was a normal day we would be apt to be out taking photos.  Only usually we go on back roads.  But the way north is never very busy so on we went.
Part of the time it was not blowing and snowing so terrible bad...
and a lot of the time it was like this...

Wow it looks like it is really snowing and blowing. Great pics of the barns too.
Beautiful blue sky day. bob pruned some of the apple trees and I planted seeds in the greenhouse. Some different flowers and also Tomatoes and Cukes and zukes. It was fun.

Everything seems so white with snow but you managed to get some nice snowy photos.

I love these pictures. We had snow and strong wind yesterday also.

The pictures are absolutely beautiful. I would love to have all four framed and hanging on the wall..how pretty these would be in our log cabin!

Loved these snowy photos. The old barns always look so pretty in any kind of weather. Glad you got home okay. It snowed here too but not like that. Nothing stuck. Thank you for visiting. The Golden Girl comment made me laugh.

Great shots. I know I never go out when it's snowing and take photos. Now you have me wanting to the next time it does.

We had the same kind of weather here too yesterday. I always love the results of photos on a snowy, blowy day. They're dreamlike.

I remember those days well, and happy to not have them anymore in the South.

I'm sorry you had to go out in bad weather, but those are mighty good looking barns. I love barns, so thanks for sharing.

It sure looks like winter! I guess if you had to be out and about, at least you got some good shots. :)

What pretty photos, Rose. With the snow falling it's created a wonderful soft texture. I love them. We're on our way to ski in Austria for a few days. We haven't hit the snow line yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing the white stuff tomorrow. All the best, Bonny

I love seeing snow like this. Your series today reminds me of a snowy drive-by image I captured years ago of an old worn-out corn crib. It's buried deep in the archives. If I find it, I'll post it again.
