Into the white...

We had appointments about an hour north of us today...this is the sort of day it was.  I had thought about cancelling, but got to thinking about if it was a normal day we would be apt to be out taking photos.  Only usually we go on back roads.  But the way north is never very busy so on we went.
Part of the time it was not blowing and snowing so terrible bad...
and a lot of the time it was like this...

  7. Loved these snowy photos. The old barns always look so pretty in any kind of weather. Glad you got home okay. It snowed here too but not like that. Nothing stuck. Thank you for visiting. The Golden Girl comment made me laugh.

  9. We had the same kind of weather here too yesterday. I always love the results of photos on a snowy, blowy day. They're dreamlike.

  14. What pretty photos, Rose. With the snow falling it's created a wonderful soft texture. I love them. We're on our way to ski in Austria for a few days. We haven't hit the snow line yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing the white stuff tomorrow. All the best, Bonny

  15. I love seeing snow like this. Your series today reminds me of a snowy drive-by image I captured years ago of an old worn-out corn crib. It's buried deep in the archives. If I find it, I'll post it again.
