Getting ready to sunbathe

One of many photos I have of turtles.  They are always fun to see and watch.

It is a quiet day here in Indiana...daughter is slow cooking a roast on the grill.  We have had tastes and it is delicious.  Copper things he should be given a share.

I have been reading an old book...by an author who died in 1919....a novel set in the time of the French and Indian wars.  It just lets my mind take a rest from everyday things.

I have a load of clothes in the dryer...have did dishes twice trying to keep things done up....and worked on a puzzle a little bit. When doing that I am listening to Belgrave Square by Anne Perry.  Whether reading or listneing to her books, they are hard to put down.

An old photo

I really need to get out and look for things to photograph...however it is so much fun to look back through the archives and see things I have completely forgotten.  I went in search of thistle blooms but got distracted by other things.
********************                                                                                                 It has been a nice day...warm and sunny...and windy of course.  I have actually sat outside and read some both yesterday and today.  That is one thing I miss in winter.

I have just did almost nothing this day...pick up Lorelei from Driver's Ed, and ran to Walmart.  Due to timing, I had to wait till after I took her home.  I figures Walmart would be a lot busier, but it wasn't at all.  Still, I hurried...I seldom go anywhere that I do not hurry.

New lap dog

You might have to click and expand the view to understand this.  I am in the recliner and Copper is in my lap.  It was raining, and dark, and the wind was blowing...not really nasty weather but he was anxious.  He has gotten in my lap before, so I thought we will try it now.  He was completely satisfied there.  I cannot move when he is there...he lay there about a half hour and by then the rain was over....he got down and started waiting for his mom to be home from work.
