Sky Watch Friday

This is from the other day--our first little drive after the floods and before another rain. I could not believe the cloud formations. Too beautiful for words.

  1. Oh wow. I wish that top photo has a wee bit more punch too it but it is a first class photo as it is. The bottom one is even better with all of the building on the horizon. I like the wide open spaces in your banner photo too.

  20. Breathtaking clouds! Perfect for SWF!

"Louis" being an early riser, caught San Francisco waking up. Louis attributes the camera shake to (A) it was still early enough that "Louis's" caffeine meter was not yet out of the red zone and (B) the lack of a tripod for a shot like this....

  28. A beauty of clouds. Clumps of the flower of the cotton seem.
I like especially the different textures, shades, lighting of the edges in contrast with the blue sky, so well grasped in these you photograph.
    Some really good captures.

  31. Rose: Lovely sky pictures! I'm so glad you stopped by my blog and told me you were in Indiana, too! I see that you are also a quilter! So am I! I'll have to search your blog when I get a little time and please come back to visit mine. I've got quilt stuff in it here and there (the fabric of my title). I'm in Evansville, so we aren't that far apart.
