for Sky Watch Friday

Click photos to enlarge.
A couple photos from slides developed in August of 1994. I am not saying that they are pretty, but rather kind of strange. I did not alter anything cause I do sort of like how they look. I don't remember how the colors actually were so thought I might as well leave them as they scanned. And I think the water part is pretty well accurate, so who knows about the actual sky.

Sky Watch Friday is an actual blog that Tom and friends started just for our benefit. I am not sure who all was involved in developing it but I am thankful to them. So if you want to join, or just want to see some great pictures go to Sky Watch to find lots of links. You won't be sorry.

  20. Those blues are wonderful and deep. I love how the clouds have formed almost in a ladder across the sky, or a platform, and their reflection in the water is awesome.

Great shots. Thanks for visiting mine.

Normally, I don't like music on people's sites, but this is Neil Young, so it's all good.

  48. Dear Rose, I just noticed your very kind comment on my swf post with the lots of rain...
    Thank you!
We had a wonderful hiking trip on Wednesday and Thursday, the first day sunshine, the second day heavy rain, and we got wet to the bones...
But it was extremely beautiful! This is a region in Austria called Pre-Alps, farms with cattle and from time to time a village. Very green and very pleasant for hiking as it is not too steep. And always lovely outlooks.

I think it is very difficult to scan slides which are ten years old or more...
They sometimes remind of emotions one may have forgotton. Or whatever.
But the dark clouds over the still darker water look very exciting!
    Have a nice weekend, Maria
