One of seven...

This is one of the most beautiful songs(instrumental) I have ever heard...I cannot hear it without crying. My brother, Neal, used his photos from in and around our home in Tennessee to make this video. I loved it from the moment I heard it, long before the video--can sit and listen to it over and over. The name of the piece is 10,000 Lakes;  I don't know who it is by.

  2. I have felt a bond with both you and Neal of late, watching this tell me why.. I long for things long gone, and know they will never come back.... it makes remembering them a touch painful at times but it's a nice pain as well... The post below is great news all round and one way your past will live on... just think of the stories to be told to your future family... both these posts are link by love, one for the past and one for the future.. enjoy it all.

  3. The feelings like Tom described I also have for certain things and places in the past. It must be a realization that you are getting older and can't go back.
That was a beautiful video and I really enjoyed it. I can see why the music makes you cry.

  4. Oh, Rose, this is so touching. I love the music, and it's so perfect with your brother's slideshow. You live in such a gorgeous place. I've never visited Tennessee, but have seen many photos and I know I would love to spend time there. God bless you, Rose. ~ Nancy
