Very dramatic photos - I love the vastness of the sky and the beautiful gold at the horizon. The last picture capturing the buildings and field is absolutely beautiful!!
Happy Sky Watch...I love your pictures this week...storms are coming in ...hope you have a great weekend and please come and see my big surprise for sky watch this week. cheers.
I like how those clouds fan out like a peacock's tail in these pictures. Was there a storm coming in? It looks quite threatening in the shots where not much of the sun is showing.
What beautiful skies! I love clouds and am always on the look out for different ones, and these are different, and so stormy appearing. My black and white photo with the tunnel under the railroad tracks is located near the Penna/ New York border just west of Ripley, New York on Rt#20.
Your sky~watch captures are scary~beautiful! Looks like you were about to get a storm, I love the little hint of light near the bottom! Great job! Happy sky~watching! Cat

These are beautiful blues! Such an expanse of sky.
All well captured but my fav is the 1st
I quite like the last image here with its collection of farm buildings. The sky certainly dominates the landscape with its belt of low-flying cloud.
the dark beams seem to reach out over the light.
Rose: I can't decide morning or night but either way it is scary beautiful.
These skies look MOOOOODY, Rose. At least they let a little sunshine through for you to watch the sun go sown!
These are absolutely beautiful,Rose. It would be very difficult to choose a favourite,
Beautiful "blue" sky!
Just so everyone will know, these are sunrise pictures. They are from July 28, the day before our 32 anniversary...when we were on our way to Ohio.
I think I'll go for the last one - the buildings made a nice foreground to the clouds.
I like the way the clouds seem to be radiating out from the mast in the second picture.
