Are these what you expected when you seen the title 'Drive-by shootings' or did you know me well enough to know it was a play on words? We left before daylight this morn, and I was hoping to see a wonderful display. Little did I dream of what a display of color I would see. It was very frustrating though, to be traveling and not able to stop and take my time composing some shots. But see that dark streak in the sky on the right side starting at the trees--that was actually there; we do not know what caused it. Just wanted you to know it wasn't my camera or me....Friday, September 19, 2008

Rose, I'm enjoying the pictures especially the barns. Keep them coming and hope you have a nice trip!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful sunrise!!
ReplyDeleteI like the first barn even though it has seen better days. I like the stone silo and the way the boards at the top are almost like windows. A house like that with windows would certainly be cool.
Have a wonderful time Rose.
These are wonderful photos...all of them! I love those 2 old barns and look forward to more. You sound like me when I travel....I sit up posting, and Mike falls asleep!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures Rose, and please enjoy your travels. I am enjoying what you are sharing!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful photos. I love the last one of the red barn. Here in my part of the world it is spring and we are experiencing amazing colours as well on the flowering shrubs and trees.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, keep the barn photos coming! They are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYour are getting amazing drive-by shots, Rose! The sunrise is lovely.
Nice work. Great shots, especially when placed against the maroon / rust background. I attended grad school at U of M in the 1970s, and it is a beautiful state.
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog while blog surfing using the “next blog” button on the Nav Bar of blogger.com. I am continually fascinated by the types of blogs that exist on the Internet, and the various, creative ways in which people all over the globe express themselves. Thanks for sharing.
