Another day with a second post....

Just realized earlier that this is actually the first post for today...don't ask me how I got so mixed up. Yesterday was not such a good day...had a BAD headache all day...and sore from something else.
I posted these at one time on my other blog. They were taken long before I had a digital camera.
These are scans from slides which was developed in October of 1994. This was just a single old tree along the side of a country road. I could not believe my eyes when I spotted these babies up there.

I think this last baby is just soooo cute.

  1. Those are just adorable! How very cute! The photos are wonderful. I just found your comment about your daughter's rose quilt and it is beautiful! I would like to know how to do that "quilt as you go" method of putting a quilt together.

  28. Oh, Rose, these are WONDERFUL photos! How fortunate youw ere to come upon this scene, and to have a camera AND telephoto in your hand!!!! I have never been able to get closeups of anything in nature because I have always used 35 mm till recently and the only decent telephoto we have for it weighs a ton, so you have to set up with a tripod, and that just doesn't work for impromptu shots. BUT....one of these days! :-) Anyway, I love these pictures! The babies are precious!

I agree with you about Sky Watch and My World...it's hard because you want to look at dozens of other blogs to see what photos they posted too, and it takes a lot of time. I try to do it every week, but sometimes it's hard. Thanks so much for coming by my blog and commenting!
