Another subject from the strip pits


I have seen pheasants out at the strip pits before, but this is the first one I have seen out there in several years. This is just two photos of the same bird...it was running away from me and this is the best I could do. I was still thrilled to capture it at all.

  6. You got some great shots! Pheasants are so neat to have around. Where I used to live I'd often hear the the males "crowing" from their cover.

  9. Lovely captures.

    The shutter was open 5 sec. in the first and 8 sec. in the last.
    I used tripod and remote realeaser.
