Stately tree and two sad barns....

This tree was in another picture I posted of a church in Poland, Indiana. It was too big to fit in the frame from anywhere where I could get a good view of it. However, if you enlarge this it kind of gives the feel of it.
Then these two barns are drive-by shots...from the same day as the shot of the tree. Notice the trees are still bare.

  1. That tree looks very old and large! Trees always seem so right in a cemetery. Great barns. You must have hundreds of barn photos :-)

  2. Beautiful tree....I'd love to see it when it has it's leaves, I'm sure its spectacular!

You are so very lucky to have so many barns in your neck of the woods! I'm hoping to remedy my deficit of barn pictures this summer when I go home for a visit.

  3. A fine looking old tree. The first barn is notable for its rusty covering. To bad to see them disintegrate into the ground. Nice post.

  5. The barns certainly look it sad shape, but I'll bet they have a lot of stories they could tell. I really like your stately tree.

  8. Hi Rose, That tree looks so interesting. Are the leaves on it now??? You should take another shot with its leaves.

Those barns do look like they need some serious work. Are they still being used by the people on that farm????

    Have a great Sunday.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  11. I think the way paint peels off a barn or fades is fascinating. An ld barn always makes a great photo, in my opinion. ;-)
