Just to let you know I am alive

I just thought I would do a post to let you know I haven't quit blogging, just been a bit under the weather. I came down with a really bad cold Thanksgiving day and have not been able to totally shake it. I don't feel bad; the worst thing is trying to get sleep because when I lay down I start to cough.

We have a new nephew--actually a great nephew. His name is Jackson. He was born December 1 and weighed 9 pound 4 ounces! and was 20 1/2 inches long. Welcome to the world Jackson!

I have not been out with the camera in a while, so I will start with a video of Lorelei. She is changing so much....as adorable as ever.

  1. I started to send you an email today to see if things were alright.
Hope you're feeling like yourself before long.
Little Lucy is like Lorelei - she can get so loud. :)
    Cute moments.

  2. I'm hope you do shake it and get better soon.
Congrats on the new great nephew...That size sounds like my babies. Out of the 11 kids, 8 of them were over 9lbs.

  4. I hope you are soon feeling better. I know how hard it can be to sleep when you are always coughing. I've had to sleep in a recliner at times because I couldn't lay down without coughing. Cute video of Lorelei.

  6. I like the title and enjoying seeing and hearing the actual contest! :-) I hope your cold lets us soon. We're in a freezing mode with a sweeping cold front from Canada. It's a beautiful sunny day but only 14f with a wind chill of around 0.

  8. I'm sorry you are still feeling so badly. Getting rid of a cough is so hard to do. I usually sleep best in a half way upright position when I'm coughing. Hope you are better soon and get more sleep. Congrats on the new baby!

  10. I hope you shake this nasty cold soon. This is a terrible time of year to feel sick. (Of course, no time of year is a GOOD time to be ill.)
