Last post

Someone had fun with hay bales...I hate that I had to look into the sun to take this but it still makes me smile...so I thought I would have my last post of the year leave a smile on your face.

I think the biggest happening for us this past year was the appearance of our first grandchild. Lorelei has sure added joy to all our lives. It is hard to believe that she will be a year old in less than two months! Can you believe that on February 9 she will be a year old?

Happy New Year to all!

  1. Yes, I'm sure that the birth of your first grandchild had to have been the highlight for you in 2009....

I wish for you and yours the very best in 2010... God Bless You, Rose, and your family.

    Happy New Year.
    Hugs,

  3. A fun shot with which to end the year! I appreciated your visit to my old my-expressions site. I've decided to leave the collection there. As I commented, I can use it too since I want to revise and repost some of the early pictures that can be improved (I hope!).
It's been a great 2009 for you with the birth of Lorelei. May 2010 be even better...perhaps the best one yet!

  5. Hi Rose!

Things are almost back to normal here - well, sort of, so I'm going to be blogging on occasion...

Love this image...never have seen anything like it!

Hope you had a wonderful holiday and we wish you and your family the very best for 2010!

  6. Now that would be interesting to see...the hay bales that our farmers put out, look like field long snakes...not nearly as cute as what you are sharing with us! Happy New Year Rose, Lorelei is adorable...and yes that first year goes fast, but it gets better and better! Grandchildren are such a blessing, meant to enjoy and I know you do!

  7. Cute photo...it did make me smile:-) First grandbaby has to be a biggie and Lorelei is such a bright smiling happy little doll. She would brighten any year.

  8. I like the decorated hay bales. I can understand why you select Lorelei as the biggest happening of 2009.
