Another foggy road trip

Roger wanted to get out of the house today, so we went over to Arthur, Illinois. I didn't take but a half a dozen or so photos. It was foggy, and there are very few places to pull totally off the road over there. And even out on the county roads, there is quite a bit of traffic. As an example, we might drive around here on our county roads for 15-20 minutes without passing anyone or having anyone behind us. Over there, we are very seldom out of the sight of another vehicle. Even for 5 minutes.

No sewing done today...

  1. Oh boy it is foggy there. How much of a hazard is a horse and buggy in the fog? Clip Clop MB

  2. Great shot Rose. I love driving on roads like that where you don't see anyone. We live in such a heavy traffic area I hate going out in the rush hour time frame.

  3. I like the horse-drawn buggy with the warning sign.
The foggy day helped this picture by making distractions ahead disappear.

  7. Thanks Rose for taking us on your foggy road trip... Love seeing the buggy on the road. We don't have them here. We have Mennonites --but they drive cars.

Have a great day and get lots of quilting done.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  10. I love the clip. I have a mug with a girl and a cat on her hip, which is just like my Lily and me in the morning for years and years.

  12. As you know, I luv foggy shots! This is so great, Rose! You got everything right - the long, straight road, out in the middle of nowhere, the snow, the cold, and that red sign on the back...just super!

  14. It has been quite foggy here too, which takes most of the fun out of taking photos. I need to develop a better attitude about dreary days!

  15. What an amazing photo! Fog can be so interesting in photos, but maybe not so much when you're driving through it!
