I just thought I would show another Dickcissel--again singing his heart out.
The Goldfinches have also started out at the strip pits...they are more intent on working on the thistle seeds than in singing. Not the greatest photo, but not horrible either.*************
I am not sure how much blogging I will get done in the next few days...I have photos scheduled for Time Stand Still, but have not got anything scheduled ahead for her. I am hoping I at least get time to post but not positive that I will.
Hi Rose, I think the birds feel powerful UP there on that perch... They can look at everything below them. I love to see them on a perch just singing their hearts out.... Too Cute!!!!!

ReplyDeleteHow can you go wrong with the finch. I have a shot I don't think is particularly good either and I haven't posted it but I like it. They are pretty birds.
Nice shots, Rose. The only place i have ever seen a dicksissel is on your blog...but I'll keep looking. As for the goldfinches, yes they are busy. They have their babies late in the season so they need the fluff for their nests. :)
