Down a county road....

Just to get out a little bit, we headed north....I was sort of looking for the place in the post day before yesterday with all the big rocks....we didn't find it but we found the road in the first photo above...we have been down part of it before, one time.
I recognized this barn, and have posted a different view of it but cannot supply the link at this time.
We have been through this bridge before, but I did not remember it at all; the other time we were through here it was in the summertime.
This is a view looking back down the valley from the bridge....we want to go back when spring has arrived. It will look totally different.

  2. I love Country Roads, specially the song by John Denver.
In your last post I thought that one fellow looked like deirks bentley and of course you had his name right up there. It pays to pay attention. LOL MB

  3. I've said it before, but I just love photos of the old barns. Also, my dad listened to bluegrass. Although I don't listen much, I like it. I like the Irish/Appalachian influences.

  6. My kind of day trip Rose - right down a country road that most folks wouldn't really call a road. :)

  7. A fine series of this interesting road including the covered bridge. I find it fascinating to see a road with no ditches that is smooth right into the field.
